Cambridge Assessment International Education

We are registered to teach CIE courses and to administer their examinations here within our school. The organization still marks all examination scripts in England to ensure the quality and validity of the certificates given out at this time of the year.

We are delighted to say that the results for Green Shoots students have just been released and our graduating class has done exceedingly well in the courses they took:

  • Mathematics
  • Coordinated Sciences
  • First Language English
  • First Language Japanese
  • Second Language German
  • Global Perspectives
  • Environmental Management

The examination board offer passes at A* for exceptional papers, then grades papers at pass rates A through E. We are delighted to announce that our 2017/18 class of students had a 100% pass rate with 63% at A* or A which rises to 91% if we include all results in the top three grades A* to B.

Cambridge recognizes performances with an International Certificate of Education (ICE) for students who have taken seven examinations or more, (in at least two languages) with subjects spread across the spectrum of all five groups of courses below:

  • Group I: Languages
  • Group II: Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Group III: Sciences
  • Group IV: Mathematics
  • Group V: Creative and Professional

Once more we are thrilled to report that one of our students, Kai received a distinction in his ICE and will be continuing his studies for the next two years on a full academic scholarship to UWC ISAK Japan.

Since the day Green Shoots started, it has always been our mission to provide a high-quality academic education for all of our students. By preparing for success in internationally recognized qualifications like IGCSE’s our students have doors open for them to higher education institutions around the world.

Go you, the Green Team!
